Walkway canopy
London, England

The award-winning Evelina Children's Hospital, built in 2005, was designed with the help of children. As the hospital's website says, "With everything from the menus and furnishings to the design of the building itself chosen by children, it's something truly special."

The children's touch can be seen in this canopy that covers a walkway between old and new buildings. The canopy uses SEFAR® Architecture TENARA® Fabric, stretched and draped in a whimsical shape over formed steel tubing. The fabric lets in plenty of daylight to create a happy, upbeat atmosphere.

The canopy was designed by Hopkins Architects and produced and installed by Architen-Landrell.
